Selecting the right keywords.
The question most commonly asked is "Where do I start when looking for the right keywords"? Don't worry there is a technique you can use when researching keywords within your specified topic/niche. First of all put yourself in the other person's shoes and ask "What would I type in to a search engine to find this particular information I am looking for"? "What possible keywords or keyword phrases would I use"?
For example, if someone was looking to purchase an Affiliate ebook to earn some extra cash, they could type in the product name: Make money as an Affiliate. Affiliate ebook guide etc. However, if they just type in "Affiliate" they could come up with thousands and thousands of pages unrelated to what they are really looking for.
Let me give you an example.
There are hundred's of people selling products under the keyword "Make money", but the fact is these people are not making much themselves if any at all.
If I had no idea on Internet Marketing and wanted to make some extra cash I might type in "make money" and the search would throw up some ads. Some ads may say "learn how to make money online" or, "make money on the internet" in that case I would probably do another search on any of those two keyword phrases. A more specific search. This is where you want your ads displayed and not under the general terms. People are looking for a solution to a problem. This can apply to almost any topic on the internet. So how can you take advantage of this? Simple. Fulfill their request (their search) and provide them with a solution to their problem.
